A&E Network tried to bring Casey Nezhoda together with her husband to the first "Storage Wars" production, however they were unable to do so due to the fact that Casey Nezhoda was required to watch her children as Rene was focused on her business. The couple were given an opportunity to be recurring characters in season four of "Storage Wars". They played buyers in the initial six episodes. They then became the principal actors in the next season.
