Ashley was born prematurely and weighed 2lbs 8 inches. The ICU was her home for one month. She was informed by her parents at the time of Christmas Day that she had to undergo heart surgery. As her parents visited at Christmas Day, they were told by doctors that she had a closed heart. Ashley did not require of any surgical procedures. After being released, she went home with a weight of 4 1/2 pounds following being in hospital for 2 months. Her health is improving. Her father's heritage is English and German. Her mother's family comes originated from Ireland. Her acting debut was in the 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll commercial. Ashley was first approached by Ford Modeling Agency when she turned eight. In the present, Ashley continues to work in the print industry. When she was 10years old, Ashley decided to become an actor. Ashley continued to work on 35 commercials, and then into roles in the theatre. The acting was her passion now. Ashley's main focus was acting. There was not much time left for dance and modeling. Ashley is well known for her character of Hannah Marin in ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was a appearance in Romeo's (aka Lil Romeo's) music video "True Love" and was portrayed by Solange and Romeo Miller. Britney Spears acted as her co-star in a Vogue Magazine photoshoot. She appears in the video for "That Girl" by NLT.
